Perceptron is now seeking to deploy its visual AI technology on factory floors, where machines must recognize equipment, obstacles and changing conditions while operating safely. The company has not disclosed funding, customer names, deployment volumes or a commercial launch date. Its main test will be whether the models can deliver reliable, real-time performance in complex manufacturing environments, where errors can disrupt production or create safety risks.
