SiFive Raises $400 Million in Series G Funding With NVIDIA Among Investors
SiFive, a chip IP company founded by the team that invented RISC-V, provides customizable processor designs. As agentic AI increasingly relies on CPUs for workload scheduling, resource coordination and process control in data centers, the industry is renewing its focus on general-purpose computing cores. NVIDIA’s investment also signals that RISC-V is accelerating its push into AI infrastructure.
SiFive said on April 9, 2026, that it had completed an oversubscribed $400 million Series G funding round led by Gavin Baker’s Atreides Management, with participation from NVIDIA, Apollo Global Management and Point72 Turion. The round valued SiFive at $3.65 billion, and the proceeds will be used to advance high-performance RISC-V CPUs and data-center AI IP.
