Commercial Times Digital Finance Awards Add AI Category
The Commercial Times and National Chengchi University’s FinTech Research Center have launched the sixth edition of the Digital Finance Awards, a program recognizing financial institutions for digital transformation and service innovation. The competition has become a gauge of Taiwan’s evolving financial technology landscape as banks and other financial companies step up investment in technology, operational efficiency and customer experience.
More than 60 financial institutions are competing in this year’s awards, with entries to be assessed through a four-stage selection process. Organizers have introduced an “AI Intelligent Practice Benchmark Award” for the first time, reflecting the financial sector’s accelerating adoption of artificial intelligence and focusing on measurable implementation results and practical value. Winners are scheduled to be announced at the awards ceremony on Oct. 7.
