Fluence Energy Teams Up With Nvidia and Siemens on Power Infrastructure for AI Supercomputers
Fluence Energy supplies large-scale, grid-level energy storage systems. As the power density of AI data centers surges, grid connections, backup storage and power controls have become deployment bottlenecks. The partnership will integrate energy-storage capabilities into Nvidia’s next-generation AI supercomputer designs, with implications for deployment speed and operational stability.
On June 1, 2026, Siemens announced a partnership with Nvidia and Fluence Energy, with design input from nVent, to develop a power and control reference architecture compatible with the NVIDIA DSX Vera Rubin NVL72. Financial terms were not disclosed. Fluence Energy shares surged more than 43% at one point after the announcement.
