AI and Advanced Processes Lift Southern Taiwan Science Park Revenue More Than 22% in Early 2026

Southern Taiwan Science Park is a major hub for Taiwan’s semiconductor and high-tech industries, and its performance reflects global technology demand and supply-chain conditions. Continued expansion in global AI infrastructure in early 2026 boosted demand for high-performance computing (HPC) chips, keeping advanced-process capacity utilization high and driving the park’s revenue growth.

The park generated NT$492.968 billion in revenue in January and February 2026, up 22.25% from the same period in 2025. AI and HPC applications fueled growth in the integrated-circuit industry, while demand for 3-nanometer and 5-nanometer processes continued to outstrip supply. Advanced-chip demand remained the key driver of the park’s expansion at the start of the year.
