3 reports · First detected 2026-04-27 · Last active 2026-04-28

iThome's 2026 Enterprise Cybersecurity Survey examines how companies are approaching security as they adopt generative AI, AI agents and zero-trust architectures. As threats and governance demands increase, cybersecurity talent and data governance have emerged as the two biggest challenges. Companies are therefore assessing whether AI can fill staffing gaps and accelerate monitoring and incident response.

The 2026 survey found that 77% of IT executives believe AI can help ease cybersecurity staffing needs, while about 30% of CIOs plan to use it to address the talent shortage. Financial and service-sector companies are the most active adopters of cybersecurity AI agents. Financial institutions and companies with annual revenue of NT$10 billion are also embracing zero trust more aggressively, indicating that AI has entered the stage of actual investment and deployment.
