Particle Launches Radar to Open Podcasts to AI Agents
Particle, the AI newsreader startup founded by former Twitter engineers, is shifting toward podcast intelligence with Radar. Most search engines and AI agents are built around text, leaving interviews, market commentary and other information embedded in audio difficult to discover or analyze. Radar transcribes podcasts and applies semantic analysis, turning spoken conversations into searchable data that can support journalists, researchers, hedge funds and AI search providers.
Particle introduced Radar on Aug. 26, 2026, with an index covering more than 130,000 podcasts, including Apple’s Top 200 shows across 135 categories. About 20,000 episodes are added daily. The platform can extract timestamped quotes, track entities and advertisements, and deliver alerts through email, Slack or webhooks. Its data is available through an API and MCP for AI agents. Radar costs $29 per seat monthly, while a $399 monthly business plan includes 20 seats; API access carries custom pricing.
