Freightos Growth Highlights AI’s Freight Automation Payoff
Freight procurement has traditionally relied on phone calls, emails and spreadsheets, leaving rates and capacity fragmented and execution labor-intensive. Freightos is building a machine-readable layer for pricing, booking and procurement, allowing AI systems to move beyond recommendations toward continuous rate comparison, routing and automated purchasing. The strategic value lies less in the model itself than in the transaction infrastructure capable of turning AI decisions into bookings at scale.
Freightos said on Aug. 17 that revenue for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 rose 3% to a record $7.7 million. The platform processed 458,000 transactions, up 15% from a year earlier, while gross booking value jumped 33% to a record $422 million. Adjusted EBITDA loss narrowed to $2.0 million from $2.9 million, and the IFRS loss fell to $1.6 million, underscoring improving efficiency as digital freight activity expands.
