Bitcoin Buyers Accumulate More Than 250,000 BTC in Key Price Range
Bitcoin’s supply is capped at 21 million coins, and the on-chain distribution of holders’ cost bases during price corrections can help gauge buying support. From March to May 2026, most wallet cohorts were net sellers at around $70,000. Retail investors and large holders have now shifted to accumulation in tandem, signaling a change in market supply-and-demand dynamics.
Glassnode data showed buyers added a net 259,298 BTC in the $59,000–$67,000 range over the 10 days beginning June 5, 2026. The Accumulation Trend Score rose to its maximum reading of 1.0 and remained there for more than two weeks. On June 16, BlackRock launched the BITA income ETF, which generates income by selling call options on IBIT. IBIT had about $49 billion in net assets.
