ADATA Invests in Const-Tech to Expand Into AI Compute Centers
Generative AI and large language models are driving demand for GPUs and high-performance computing. Companies and governments are also placing greater emphasis on “sovereign AI,” which gives them more control over data residency, compute allocation and local operations and maintenance. Memory module maker ADATA's move into computing infrastructure combines its capabilities with Const-Tech's expertise spanning data center planning, GPU cluster deployment and operations management, strengthening the AI compute center supply chain in Taiwan and overseas.
On March 25, 2026, ADATA Technology announced that it had led Const-Tech's $3 million Series A funding round, equivalent to about NT$96 million. The companies will integrate DRAM, enterprise SSDs (eSSDs), hardware architecture, and the construction, operation and maintenance of compute centers. Const-Tech is also planning expansions of more than 2 MW in Fukushima, Japan, and more than 20 MW across Malaysia and Southeast Asia, with a target of completing 10 AI compute centers worldwide by the end of 2027.
