Dynatrace to Acquire Arize for $915 Million
Dynatrace provides observability software that helps companies monitor applications, infrastructure and digital services. The rapid adoption of generative AI and AI agents has created a new layer of operational risk, as businesses must track model outputs and agent decisions alongside conventional software performance. Combining those capabilities is increasingly important as enterprises move AI systems from experiments into production, expanding the market for specialized AI observability tools.
Dynatrace said it will acquire AI observability startup Arize for $915 million, adding technology for monitoring and analyzing generative AI models and AI agents to its existing software platform. The transaction is expected to close in the fall of 2026. Dynatrace is betting the combination will help it capture growing demand for unified AI and software observability while extending its reach among developers building production AI applications.
