Expensify, Marqeta Expand Card Partnership to UK and EU

Expensify combines corporate cards, expense reporting and spending controls in a software platform, while Marqeta provides the card-issuing and payments infrastructure behind such programs. Their partnership already supports Expensify’s card offering in the United States. Expanding the relationship to the UK and European Union gives businesses operating across borders a way to manage card programs through a single integration as regional demand grows for automated expense tools.

Marqeta said on July 21, 2026, that Expensify was extending its corporate card and spend-management offering to customers in the UK and EU. Marqeta’s multinational issuing platform supports physical, virtual and tokenized cards for uses including travel, supplier payments and departmental budgets, alongside cardholder-level controls, real-time transaction approvals and spending analytics. The companies did not disclose the financial terms of the expanded partnership or provide a detailed rollout timetable.
