ARK’s 2026 Bitcoin Outlook Sees Crypto Market Cap Reaching $28 Trillion by 2030

ARK Invest’s “Big Ideas 2026” report identified 2025 as a pivotal year for the institutionalization of crypto assets. Bitcoin ETFs and digital asset treasuries, or DATs, together hold about 12% of Bitcoin’s supply, indicating that institutional capital is reducing the amount available in the market and providing structural support for prices.

ARK Invest now estimates that the global crypto-asset market could reach $28 trillion by 2030, with Bitcoin’s market capitalization potentially reaching $16 trillion. Bitcoin recently made another attempt at $80,000 as stocks rose, oil prices fell and optimism over Iran increased. Institutional demand is still seen as the main growth driver over the next four years.
