Gigabyte Unveils GB300-Powered AI Super Desktop

As generative AI models grow larger, companies seeking to run them on premises typically face steep spending on servers, cooling and dedicated data-center space. Gigabyte Technology is targeting that constraint with its W775 desktop AI supercomputer line, designed to bring high-end inference into offices while reducing reliance on cloud infrastructure and giving customers greater control over sensitive data.

Gigabyte unveiled the W775 series powered by NVIDIA’s GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra chip, saying the systems can load and run inference on large language models with about 70 billion parameters locally without a purpose-built server room. Alongside the product launch, the company raised its full-year capital-expenditure forecast by 20% to as much as NT$30 billion, citing robust demand from AI customers and improved order visibility.
