DraftKings Rolls Out Crown Cash to Simplify Rewards
DraftKings historically rewarded customers with Crowns, a loyalty currency that users converted at a rate of 550 Crowns to $1 in DK Dollars or casino credits. The extra calculation and redemption step added friction to a program spanning the company’s sportsbook, online casino and daily fantasy products. Presenting rewards as Crown Cash in dollar terms is intended to make their value immediately clear and supports DraftKings’ broader plan to combine betting and gaming in a single Super App.
DraftKings began rolling out Crown Cash in late July 2026 and completed the rollout across its sportsbook, casino and other core products in August. Customers can now see rewards directly in dollar terms and apply them without first converting a Crowns balance at the old 550-to-$1 rate. Terms published July 22 say Crown Cash is promotional site credit, not withdrawable cash, and expires after 12 months of account inactivity. Pick6 is scheduled to transition later in 2026, according to DraftKings.
