MediaTek Teams Up With NVIDIA and Intel to Target AI Agent and Edge Computing Opportunities

MediaTek is extending its mobile chip technology into AI PCs, smart wearables and edge computing while integrating it with computing platforms from NVIDIA and Intel. General Manager Chen Kuan-chou believes AI agents will reshape device interactions and hardware architectures, fostering a new ecosystem spanning the cloud to end devices and forming a key part of the company's medium- to long-term growth strategy.

Ahead of COMPUTEX 2026, MediaTek announced deeper partnerships with NVIDIA and Intel to develop AI PC and smart wearable solutions. NVIDIA also unveiled RTX Spark, teaming up with MediaTek to enter the AI PC market. The collaboration involves three chipmakers, but MediaTek has not disclosed the investment, shipment volumes or product launch dates.
