Quantum AI Startup Qutwo Raises Record €25 Million Angel Round in Finland
Qutwo, founded by former Silo AI CEO Peter Sarlin, is developing a quantum AI software platform. Its “quantum-inspired computing” technology allows companies to simulate quantum-computing behavior on conventional computers, lowering adoption barriers and helping them prepare for the commercialization of quantum computers. The approach has drawn attention from Europe’s technology and venture capital sectors.
Qutwo announced in July 2026 that it had completed a €25 million angel funding round, equivalent to about NT$925 million, marking the largest early-stage financing in Finnish history. The funding will support further development of its quantum AI platform and enterprise applications, enabling customers to test quantum technology using their existing computing infrastructure.
