Solana Poised to Become Crypto’s ‘Everything Chain,’ Dudas Says
Solana has emerged as a high-speed, low-cost blockchain supporting decentralized finance, payments and consumer-facing services. Mike Dudas, co-founder of crypto venture firm 6th Man Ventures, says the network could become an “everything chain” by combining trading, payments and settlement. Its mainstream potential, he argues, depends on applications shielding users from technical friction such as wallets, transaction fees and blockchain infrastructure.
Dudas said consumer-grade applications built on Solana could bring hundreds of millions of users into crypto by making the underlying technology largely invisible. The network’s community is also weighing governance proposals aimed at reshaping SOL’s token economics, including slowing new issuance and increasing token burns. The measures remain under discussion and would require approval and implementation through Solana’s governance process.
