Traditional Chinese Edition of ‘Mastering Bitcoin’ Third Edition Formally Released With Taproot and Asset-Issuance Updates

Andreas M. Antonopoulos’ “Mastering Bitcoin” is a major technical guide to Bitcoin’s underlying mechanics and practical development. O’Reilly Media published the English-language third edition in December 2023. The Traditional Chinese edition gives Chinese-language readers a systematic account of the protocol’s evolution, helping close knowledge gaps created by recent developments in wallets, signatures and on-chain assets.

As of July 2026, the Traditional Chinese translation of the third edition by Dr. Awesome Doge had formally gone live. It substantially expands the previous edition’s coverage of P2TR, Schnorr signatures and transaction fees, while adding on-chain asset-issuance technologies including the RGB protocol and Taproot Assets. The new material reflects the latest advances in Bitcoin’s technical ecosystem since Taproot was activated.
