CoinShares Launches Bitcoin Mining ETF on Deutsche Börse Xetra

2 reports · First detected 2026-07-21 · Last active 2026-07-21

UCITS is the European Union’s harmonized fund framework, allowing investment products to be distributed across multiple jurisdictions and commonly fitting the mandates of pension funds, insurers and private banks. CoinShares is using the structure to expand beyond its established crypto ETP franchise into Europe’s €26.3 trillion UCITS market, measured by net assets as of April 2026. The fund gives investors equity exposure to Bitcoin miners without requiring them to hold the cryptocurrency directly.

The CoinShares Bitcoin Mining UCITS ETF was launched on July 16, 2026, and began trading on Deutsche Börse Xetra on July 21 under the ticker MINE. The physically replicated fund tracks the CoinShares Bitcoin Mining Index, a rules-based portfolio of listed miners administered by Solactive AG. It carries a 0.65% total expense ratio and rebalances quarterly. Early Xetra data showed the shares at €19.50, with 60 units traded for turnover of €1,184.
