Interactive Brokers Opens Bitcoin and Stablecoin Deposits
Interactive Brokers has incorporated crypto assets into its multi-asset brokerage platform, allowing clients to manage stocks, options, futures, foreign exchange, bonds and digital assets in one place. The move reduces the friction of transferring funds among exchanges, external wallets and bank wires, which is particularly important for cross-border investors. Trading and custody services are supported by Paxos and zerohash.
On March 25, 2026, Interactive Brokers announced that eligible clients of Interactive Brokers LLC and its UK subsidiary could transfer assets including Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana directly into linked Paxos or zerohash crypto accounts without first selling them. Trading fees range from 0.12% to 0.18% of the transaction value, with a minimum charge of $1.75 per order. The company had already introduced near-instant, 24/7 USDC deposits on January 15.
