XRP Ledger Integrates Boundless to Bring Bank-Grade Privacy to Blockchain

2 reports · First detected 2026-04-14 · Last active 2026-04-14

Public blockchains disclose transaction amounts, counterparties and asset positions by default, exposing banks and asset managers to the risk of leaking strategic and client information. XRP Ledger has been adopted by institutions including Japan's SBI Holdings, the United Arab Emirates' Zand Bank and Britain's Archax, while more than $550 million has been invested in its ecosystem. Privacy capabilities are therefore critical to further institutional adoption.

XRP Ledger announced on April 14, 2026, that it had integrated zero-knowledge proof network Boundless to natively verify transaction validity, sufficient funds and regulatory compliance while concealing amounts, senders and recipients. The system also supports regulatory reviews through selective disclosure and role-based permissions, targeting uses including cross-border payments, treasury management, over-the-counter trading and tokenized assets.
