Asana Acquires StackAI to Expand Cross-System Automation for Enterprise AI Agents
Asana is an enterprise work-management and collaboration platform whose Work Graph connects tasks, goals and organizational context. It launched AI Studio in October 2024 and later developed AI Teammates. Acquiring StackAI adds the ability to execute workflows across CRM and ERP systems, databases and internal tools, allowing Asana’s AI agents to operate beyond collaboration within its own platform.
Asana announced on May 28, 2026, that it had completed its acquisition of no-code AI workflow company StackAI in a deal reportedly worth about $75 million. StackAI will be integrated into AI Teammates and AI Studio, using Work Graph for context while feeding actions and data from cross-system workflows back into Asana. The combination is intended to enable end-to-end automation of complex, core business processes.
