The restructuring of global supply chains has encouraged Taiwanese companies to bring operations home, while expansion in the AI industry has increased demand for inventory storage, distribution and flexible space management. With the supply of large logistics warehouses in Taiwan tightening, Rongjiang Group plans to build a flexibly configurable warehousing and logistics center in the Shalun Industrial Park in Taoyuan, showing how the AI boom is spilling over from technology manufacturing into logistics and real estate investment.

Land Bank of Taiwan completed the signing of Rongjiang Group’s NT$3.734 billion syndicated loan on April 30, 2026, serving as sole lead arranger and facility agent. The loan was 178% subscribed. Participating lenders included Mega International Commercial Bank, Cathay United Bank, Taiwan Cooperative Bank, Bank of Taiwan, Agricultural Bank of Taiwan and Taiwan Business Bank. The funds will finance construction of the warehousing and logistics center in Shalun, Taoyuan.
