Chip Testing Firm Ardentec Wins SBTi Validation, Advances Net-Zero Path for AI Supply Chain
Ardentec (3264) provides semiconductor testing services and is part of the supply chain for advanced AI chips. As global customers tighten product carbon-footprint standards and supplier emissions-reduction requirements, validation by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) shows that its decarbonization plans align with the Paris Agreement’s temperature goals and could also strengthen its competitiveness in securing orders.
Ardentec recently announced that its near-term emissions-reduction targets had formally received SBTi validation. The company has also introduced a carbon-management system and stepped up supply-chain engagement. It plans to use 2035 as a key milestone for reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 operational emissions and Scope 3 value-chain emissions, working with suppliers and customers to establish a net-zero pathway for the AI chip supply chain.
