Meta Quietly Launches Pocket AI Social App for Text-Generated Mini-Games

Meta has launched Pocket, an AI social app that extends generative AI beyond text and images into playable interactive experiences. Users can create mini-games called “gizmos” by entering prompts, then share and remix them within a creator community. The app reflects Meta’s continued exploration of AI-native content and new forms of social interaction.

As of July 20, 2026, Pocket had quietly entered a region-restricted soft launch and was not yet available for download worldwide. Its core features include text-generated mini-games, social sharing and remixing. Meta has not disclosed which markets are supported, a formal global launch date, its development spending or its monetization plans.
