1 reports · First detected 2026-06-24 · Last active 2026-06-24

Global cloud providers continue to increase capital spending on AI computing capacity, boosting supply chains for advanced chips, servers and cooling systems and making Taiwan a major beneficiary. CRIF China Credit Information Service said capital, talent and orders are increasingly concentrated in the technology sector. The trend is widening the corporate profit gap while leaving traditional industries grappling with labor shortages, rising costs and pressure to transform.

CRIF China Credit Information Service released its TOP5000 survey on June 24, 2026. Taiwan’s 5,000 largest companies generated NT$48.50 trillion in revenue and NT$5.77 trillion in net profit after tax in 2025, up 10.98% and 11.01% year on year, respectively.
