Google Cloud Launches AI Agents for Finance and Legal Work
Google Cloud is pushing enterprise artificial intelligence beyond general-purpose assistants with industry-specific agents built on its Gemini Enterprise platform. The initiative targets financial services and legal work, two knowledge-intensive sectors where adoption depends on domain expertise, governance and integration with established processes. The offering is designed to automate research and document-heavy tasks while helping regulated organizations deploy generative AI within professional workflows.
The company has launched its first specialized solutions for financial and legal professionals. Its financial-services agents provide more than 50 professional skills, including research support, modernization of know-your-customer processes and risk analysis for bond portfolios. Google Cloud also introduced Gemini Enterprise for Legal, a dedicated platform aimed at automating legal workflows. The releases broaden Google’s effort to turn Gemini technology into task-oriented enterprise services rather than a standalone chatbot.
