CoreWeave Signs Multiyear Deal to Provide AI Computing Support for Anthropic’s Claude

CoreWeave provides cloud infrastructure designed for high-density AI workloads, while Anthropic develops the Claude family of large language models. Generative AI training and inference are driving demand for computing capacity, and CoreWeave already serves nine of the world’s 10 largest AI model providers. Adding Anthropic could broaden its customer base and reduce its reliance on a single major client.

CoreWeave announced on April 10, 2026, that it had signed a multiyear agreement to support the development and deployment of Claude models on its cloud platform. Capacity is expected to come online in phases later this year, enabling Anthropic to run production-scale workloads with room to expand. The companies did not disclose the contract value or hardware specifications. CoreWeave shares rose 10.87% that day to close at $102, bringing their year-to-date gain to 42.44%.
