Legal AI Platform Legora Raises $550 Million at $5.6 Billion Valuation
Founded in 2023, Swedish legal technology startup Legora has built a collaborative AI platform that helps lawyers conduct legal research, review documents and draft legal materials. As major law firms integrate generative AI into core workflows, the efficiency, billing models and data governance of legal services are changing. Legora’s competition with Harvey in the United States also makes the highly valued financing round a key gauge of the industry’s pace of adoption.
On March 10, 2026, Legora announced a $550 million Series D led by Accel, with existing investors Benchmark, Bessemer Venture Partners, General Catalyst and ICONIQ among those participating. The round valued the company at $5.55 billion, with the proceeds earmarked for U.S. expansion and hiring. On April 30, NVentures, Atlassian and others invested a further $50 million, bringing the round’s total to $600 million and Legora’s post-money valuation to $5.6 billion.
