Up-Young Targets Commercial and Energy Growth as Dongyang Plans AI-Enabled Laundry Plant for April
Up-Young is pursuing a group-wide upgrade in 2026, expanding beyond commercial laundry equipment and services into the energy sector. Its subsidiary Dongyang is increasing capacity and aims to improve laundry efficiency through smart manufacturing, while the parent company is developing resilient power solutions to create dual growth engines in its commercial and energy businesses.
Dongyang plans to open a new plant in Yingge in April 2026, installing Taiwan’s largest commercial tunnel-washing system and using big data and AI to optimize operations. Up-Young has also secured distribution rights for Mitsubishi gas-powered generators, formally entering the energy-saving and backup-power markets. The related investment amount has not been disclosed.
