Ingenico Bolsters Global Leadership Team With Four Executive Appointments
Ingenico is a global payment acceptance and services provider whose terminals, software and cloud products support in-person commerce. The company has more than 3,000 employees across 32 countries, with tens of millions of devices deployed in over 120 markets. Strengthening the executive team matters as Ingenico seeks to turn fresh capital into faster product development, a more scalable technology platform and more consistent service for banks, merchants, partners and independent software vendors.
On Sept. 2, 2026, Ingenico named Maria Parpou chief product officer, Paul Gardiner chief technology officer, Ieuan Owen chief revenue officer and Oliver Moore chief customer excellence officer. The appointments follow an Aug. 17 announcement of €150 million in new capital from a PIMCO-led investor group. Parpou will set product strategy, Gardiner will lead technology and engineering, Owen will oversee the global commercial organization, and Moore will manage customer support and the end-to-end customer experience.

The history behind this eventIngenico Secures €150 Million in PIMCO-Led Financing
Ingenico is a major provider of payment acceptance technology, supplying terminals, merchant services and transaction infrastructure worldwide. The recapitalisation is significant as payments companies face rising investment demands in software, security and next-generation commerce tools. A stronger balance sheet could give the French paytech group greater flexibility to modernise its platforms and compete as merchants increasingly seek integrated, omnichannel payment services.
Ingenico said it had reached an agreement to reset its capital structure through a €150 million injection of fresh capital from a global investor group led by PIMCO. The financing is intended to strengthen the company’s financial position and support future growth, including its push into next-generation payments. The information provided did not specify the signing date, expected closing timetable, valuation or the identities of other participating investors.
