Most Crypto Investors Say Bitcoin Is Undervalued, Coinbase Survey Finds

1 reports · First detected 2026-04-30 · Last active 2026-04-30

Bitcoin (BTC) is widely regarded as a bellwether for the crypto market, and assessments of its valuation and market cycle can influence institutional allocations and risk management. Coinbase Institutional and on-chain analytics firm Glassnode jointly published “Charting Crypto Q2 2026,” using a global investor survey and on-chain data to examine whether the market is nearing a bear-market bottom.

The survey, conducted from March 16 to April 7, 2026, covered 91 global investors, including 29 institutional and 62 non-institutional respondents. It found that 75% of institutional respondents and 61% of non-institutional respondents considered Bitcoin undervalued. Meanwhile, 82% of institutions and 70% of non-institutional respondents classified the market as being in a bear market or its late stages, up sharply from 31% and 36%, respectively, in December 2025. An April 29 report also said on-chain indicators had entered a value-accumulation zone.
