GoCardless, anvil Automate Payments for Telecom Operators

1 reports · First detected 2026-08-11 · Last active 2026-08-11

Bank payments provider GoCardless has partnered with business management platform anvil to streamline collections and account administration for telecommunications operators. The integration targets a sector where direct-debit mandates, customer records and payment follow-ups can still require extensive manual handling. Connecting these tasks at the point of sale could reduce administrative costs, limit data-entry errors and give operators greater visibility over recurring revenue and cash flow.

Under the new integration, customers can authorize bank direct debit while placing an order, with the payment mandate and related account information passed into anvil’s management workflow. The system removes the need for staff to re-enter details after a sale and uses AI to retry failed payments automatically, aiming to improve collection success rates. GoCardless and anvil did not disclose customer numbers, performance gains or a specific launch date.

GoCardless, anvil Launch Automated Payments for Telcos and MSPs2026-07-29 · 1 reports · similarity 0.90

GoCardless, a global bank-payments company, is partnering with anvil, a business management and billing platform for the telecoms and IT sectors. The tie-up aims to bring contracts, billing and collections into one workflow for telecom operators and managed service providers, reducing manual data entry and the effort required to chase failed payments. GoCardless serves more than 100,000 businesses and processes over $130 billion annually across more than 30 countries.

The companies announced the partnership in London on July 28, 2026. Under the integration, customers can provide bank details and authorize a Direct Debit while signing an electronic contract, allowing anvil to create the customer and mandate through GoCardless automatically. After a billing run, one request sends collection instructions and marks invoices as paid. GoCardless’ AI-powered Success+ tool retries failed payments, while unsuccessful collections are reported to anvil immediately for credit-control follow-up. Financial terms were not disclosed.
