FundRich TISA Platform Draws 120,000 Savers, NT$16.5 Billion
Taiwan’s Financial Supervisory Commission launched the Taiwan Individual Savings Account, or TISA, in July 2025 to encourage disciplined, long-term investing and retirement preparation through low-cost, regular fund contributions. FundRich Securities responded with its fully online “TISA Hao-Xiang-Invest” service, an initiative that lowers barriers to capital-market participation and tests whether digital distribution can bring younger and lower-income savers into formal investment products.
As of August 2026, FundRich said the service had attracted more than 120,000 account holders in its first year and accumulated NT$16.5 billion in assets. Participation increased notably among people under 40 and those earning less than NT$700,000 a year, signaling broader interest from small-budget investors. FundRich also integrated online-banking procedures across multiple banks and Chunghwa Post, streamlining account opening, debit authorization and fund purchases to improve the end-to-end digital investing experience.
