Digit Humanoid Robot Developer to Go Public via SPAC at $2.5 Billion Valuation
Agility Robotics was spun out of an Oregon State University laboratory in 2015. Its bipedal humanoid robot, Digit, is designed primarily for material-handling work in manufacturing, warehousing and logistics and has already entered commercial operations at Toyota, Schaeffler and Mercado Libre. Backing from strategic shareholders including Amazon, Nvidia and SoftBank makes the listing an important gauge of humanoid robot commercialization.
Agility announced on June 24, 2026, that it would merge with Churchill Capital Corp XI at a pre-money equity valuation of $2.5 billion. The transaction is expected to raise more than $620 million in gross proceeds, including about $200 million from a PIPE, and close by the end of 2026. The combined company plans to list under the ticker AGLT. Digit v5 has already secured more than $300 million in multiyear orders.
