Samsung Unveils Galaxy S26 Series With System-Level AI and Performance Upgrades
Samsung Electronics has made generative AI central to its flagship phones since launching the Galaxy S24 in 2024, and more than 400 million Galaxy devices had AI capabilities by the end of 2025. The S26 is its third-generation AI phone, moving assistants beyond individual apps and into the operating system and chip layers. The approach makes search, scheduling, image editing and cross-app tasks part of everyday use.
Samsung unveiled the S26 series in San Francisco on February 25, 2026. The Ultra features Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, delivering CPU, GPU and NPU performance gains of 19%, 24% and 39%, respectively. Now Nudge proactively offers context-aware suggestions and integrates Bixby, Gemini and Perplexity. The series will go on sale in Taiwan on March 18, starting at NT$30,900.
