Bybit Adds Unitree, Moonshot AI Pre-IPO Perpetuals
Unitree, a Chinese robotics company known for humanoid and quadruped machines, and generative-AI startup Moonshot AI remain privately held, limiting access for most retail investors. Pre-IPO perpetual contracts seek to fill that gap by letting traders speculate on implied company valuations without an expiry date. The products provide synthetic price exposure only and do not confer shares, voting rights or other benefits associated with equity ownership.
Bybit promoted its UNITREEUSDT pre-IPO perpetual on Aug. 3, 2026, and said MOONSHOTUSDT was live on Aug. 7. Both contracts are quoted and settled in Tether’s USDT stablecoin, allowing investors to take positions before either company completes a public listing. Bybit did not disclose the contracts’ issuance size or reference valuations. The additions underscore crypto exchanges’ push into private-market and tokenized-equity derivatives beyond conventional digital assets.
