Meta Unveils Four Meta AI-Powered Features for Facebook Marketplace

Facebook Marketplace is Meta-owned Facebook’s platform for secondhand and local commerce. Listing creation, pricing decisions and communication between buyers and sellers all affect transaction efficiency. Meta is introducing generative AI to reduce the effort required for sellers to create product pages while improving how buyers search for and inquire about items.

As of July 19, 2026, Meta had announced four Meta AI features for Marketplace sellers: automatically generating draft listings, recommending prices based on market information, simplifying shipping-label creation and automatically responding to buyer messages. Meta has not announced any additional fees or provided an exact date for a full rollout across all markets.
