Cisco Unveils Zero-Trust AI Agent Defenses at RSA Conference

Companies are rapidly adopting AI agents capable of operating autonomously, expanding the risks of account impersonation, uncontrolled privileges and attacks on models. Cisco is integrating Duo identity security and Splunk AI around a zero-trust architecture to help businesses continuously verify user, device and agent permissions and establish defenses spanning deployment and operation.

Cisco unveiled a suite of AI agent security products at RSA Conference 2026, covering identity and access management, model security testing, and automated threat detection and response. The new offerings connect existing tools including Duo and Splunk AI, enabling businesses to automatically manage agent access, identify model vulnerabilities and reduce AI application risks through zero-trust principles.
