Housecall Pro Adds Klarna Payment Options for Home Services

Housecall Pro supplies field-service software to home-service contractors, while Klarna provides buy now, pay later and consumer-financing products. For businesses in HVAC, plumbing and electrical work, repair bills can be large and unexpected, creating a risk that homeowners postpone projects or reject estimates. Embedding payment choices in Housecall Pro invoices is intended to spread customers’ costs while allowing contractors to close higher-value jobs without waiting for installment payments.

Housecall Pro unveiled the Klarna integration in its Feb. 24, 2026, platform update. Residential customers can pay in full, use Pay in 4 for four interest-free installments, defer a single payment for 30 days or choose financing for as long as 36 months. U.S. dollar invoices from $1 to $10,000 are eligible. Contractors pay a 4.99% processing fee and receive the full job amount after completion, with funds generally reaching their bank account within two business days.
