Anthropic Launches Hard Questions Initiative to Examine AI Challenges

Anthropic launched its “Hard Questions” initiative in July 2026, inviting people around the world to submit tough questions about AI. The initiative builds on research involving more than 130,000 users across 159 countries and focuses on AI’s impact on employment and public safety. The company also announced the creation of the Anthropic Institute to address social challenges arising from technological development.
