Galaxy Digital Founder Mike Novogratz Highlights Helios’s $15 Billion Valuation in Annual Report
Galaxy Digital, originally focused on digital-asset trading and investment management, has expanded in recent years into institutional markets, on-chain infrastructure and high-performance computing for AI. Helios, located in West Texas, has been converted from a Bitcoin mining site into a data center. The project is central to the company’s effort to reduce its exposure to cryptocurrency cycles and establish long-term, predictable lease revenue.
Galaxy Digital filed its first 10-K as a U.S.-listed company on Feb. 26, 2026, covering the year ended 2025. In an April 8 shareholder letter, Mike Novogratz said Helios had secured approval for more than 1.6 gigawatts of capacity. The initial 800 megawatts leased to CoreWeave involves more than $7.5 billion in capital investment. Together with a newly approved 830 megawatts, long-term infrastructure investment is estimated at more than $15 billion.
