Dili Raises $21.7 Million to Scale AI Compliance

1 reports · First detected 2026-07-30 · Last active 2026-07-30

Dili uses artificial intelligence to automate labor and project-compliance work for heavily regulated sectors including energy, data centers, advanced manufacturing and construction. The New York startup targets a growing pain point in the US infrastructure buildout: contractors and developers must document prevailing wages, apprenticeship requirements and other conditions tied to federal funding and tax credits. Errors can trigger fines, clawbacks or project delays, making compliance software increasingly important as capital flows into large physical projects.

On July 31, 2026, Dili said it raised $21.7 million in a Series A round led by Khosla Ventures, with participation from Allianz, Y Combinator and other investors. The company plans to use the capital to expand its product and underlying infrastructure as demand rises across energy, data-center and public-works projects. Dili says its platform has supported more than 700 projects and helped protect over $1 billion in funding, metrics that underline the compliance exposure accompanying the infrastructure boom.
