Tongtai Unveils AI Agent-Powered Smart Manufacturing Solution at TMTS

Tongtai Machine & Tool has long focused on machine tools and automation equipment. In recent years, it has used its proprietary TLM plant and production-line management system to integrate machinery, production data and scheduling. As manufacturers grapple with labor shortages, high-mix, low-volume production and demand for high-precision semiconductor machining, cross-platform AI agents can help turn operational expertise into real-time decisions and traceable workflows.

During the 2026 Taiwan International Machine Tool Show (TMTS), Tongtai unveiled for the first time an AI agent integrating NVIDIA technology with TLM and a digital twin environment built using NVIDIA Omniverse. The solution can provide expert consultation, retrieve production histories, simulate machining virtually and analyze capacity. The company did not disclose the investment amount or a commercialization timetable.
