Nanya Technology Rallies on AI-Driven Memory Prices as Daiwa Raises Target to NT$292
Nanya Technology is a major Taiwanese DRAM manufacturer whose products include DDR4 memory. The expansion of AI data centers has prompted global chipmakers to shift capacity toward HBM and DDR5, constraining DDR4 supply. With demand from servers, networking equipment and consumer electronics remaining resilient, higher prices are directly amplifying Nanya Technology’s revenue and earnings growth.
Nanya Technology said on April 2 that revenue in March 2026 reached NT$18.170 billion, up 16.42% from the previous month and 560.04% from a year earlier. First-quarter revenue rose 582.91% year on year to a record NT$49.087 billion. Daiwa Securities raised its price target in April to NT$292 from NT$245 and maintained its “buy” rating. It forecast a double-digit increase in average selling prices in the second quarter and expects the DRAM shortage to persist through 2026.

The history behind this eventNanya Technology Plans $16 Billion Expansion to Tap AI Memory Demand
The surge in global demand for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing has made advanced memory a central battleground in the technology industry. Taiwan memory-chip bellwether Nanya Technology is aggressively developing next-generation products to capture the opportunity in AI memory. The effort will be critical to Nanya’s transition up the value chain in the global semiconductor market, as well as future hardware support for AI chips and supply-chain stability, drawing close attention from markets and investors.
Nanya Technology plans capital spending of as much as $16 billion from 2027 through 2029 to expand capacity. Its new fab will produce DDR5, customized AI products and WoW wafer-stacking products. Although Nanya’s shares fell on July 16, 2026, three major foreign financial institutions remained bullish on AI demand and the tight memory market, maintaining positive ratings and strong support while raising their highest price target to NT$650.
