COMPUTEX 2026 Spotlights AI Factories and Power Challenges
GenAI and Agentic AI are accelerating the global buildout of AI data centers and “AI factories,” making power supply, computing-resource allocation, liquid cooling and high-speed interconnects core infrastructure priorities. COMPUTEX 2026 is therefore focusing on the idea that “power is computing power,” while Taiwan’s ODM and component supply chains are moving beyond equipment manufacturing into systems integration.
The latest highlights at COMPUTEX 2026 include AI servers, liquid-cooling systems and low-power optical interconnect solutions. Taiwanese ODM manufacturers are also moving aggressively into the core layer of AI infrastructure. As server electricity consumption rises rapidly, the industry is reviewing data-center energy use and Taiwan’s power allocation. Related reports have not yet disclosed any new investment amounts or specific installed capacity.
