遠傳拿下全球電信 ESG 冠軍，S&P 永續年鑑評分創歷史新高

The S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook assesses companies’ environmental, social and governance performance and serves as an important reference for investors evaluating long-term corporate risks. Chunghwa Telecom aims to achieve net-zero emissions by 2045 and is deploying AI and AIoT in energy conservation and ecological protection. It is also using sustainable finance to channel capital into low-carbon and biodiversity projects.

S&P Global published its 2026 Sustainability Yearbook on February 18, 2026, with Chunghwa Telecom included for a fourth consecutive year and ranking in the top 5% of the global telecommunications industry by ESG score. In 2025, the company also issued the domestic telecom industry’s first sustainability bond to cover biodiversity, a NT$3.5 billion five-year offering with a 1.73% coupon, and signed 20-year agreements to purchase more than 4.6 billion kilowatt-hours of renewable electricity.
