BillingPlatform Names New Finance, Product and Customer Chiefs

BillingPlatform provides enterprise software for managing subscription, usage-based and hybrid revenue models, spanning billing, payments and revenue recognition. Founded in 2012, the company says its platform processes more than 50,000 invoices daily. The appointments matter as artificial intelligence and consumption-based pricing make monetization more complex, increasing the need to coordinate financial discipline, product development and customer delivery under Chief Executive Officer Chris Bishop.

BillingPlatform said in August 2026 that Steven Springsteel will become chief financial officer, Rob Zwiebach will serve as chief product officer and Chris King will take the chief customer officer role. Springsteel previously served as CFO of subscription-management provider Recurly, while Zwiebach led product management for Workday Financial Management. King, a BillingPlatform executive who had been senior vice president of professional services, brings more than 20 years of enterprise-software experience. The company did not disclose compensation or precise effective dates.
