1 reports · First detected 2026-09-01 · Last active 2026-09-01

Stablecoin payments company Kast is expanding into corporate finance with KAST Business, a platform combining virtual accounts, card issuance and international transfers. The offering targets companies managing money across borders and currencies, where conventional banking arrangements can involve multiple intermediaries, slower settlement and added foreign-exchange costs. Kast is positioning stablecoin infrastructure as the underlying rail for a more integrated business payments service.

Kast launched the platform after completing an $80 million funding round. KAST Business supports more than 20 currencies and offers annualized yields of as much as 8% on idle balances, according to the company. The rollout marks a push beyond Kast’s existing payments operations into business accounts and treasury services, with the company aiming to bring as many as 5,000 businesses onto the platform by the end of 2026.

Stablecoin Payments Platform KAST Raises $80 Million in Series A Funding2026-03-10 · 3 reports · similarity 0.92

KAST, a stablecoin financial platform founded by former Circle senior executive Raagulan Pathy, offers U.S. dollar-denominated accounts and cross-border payment services. It connects digital dollars with local payment systems, helping individuals and businesses move money across more than 190 countries. The model can reduce the time and cost of cross-border transactions through traditional correspondent banks and reflects stablecoins’ growing role as payment and settlement infrastructure.

On March 9, 2026, KAST announced that it had raised $80 million in a Series A round co-led by QED Investors and Left Lane Capital, with participation from Peak XV Partners, HSG and DST Global Partners. The round valued the company at $600 million post-money. KAST will use the funds to expand in Latin America, North America and the Middle East, as well as invest in licensing, compliance, product development and hiring.
